The “Apa Craiului” commercial product is a noncarbonated (tap) mineral water, it comes out from hydro-mineral source Gâlgoaie Spring, the natural underground aquifer trapped from Piatra Craiului limestone massif, and recognized as such by national authority.
The chemical components of mineralization of this water are specific to an oligomineral (poorly mineralized) calcium bicarbonate, with a slightly alkaline pH – 7,2 to 7,4.
The natural mineral water definition is supported by the results of analytical work carried out in specialized laboratories, national and international accredited, certifying the physico-chemical stability of its qualities, in relation to the requirements of technical mining rules and marketing of natural mineral waters no. 1020/2005, harmonized with Directive no. 777/80/CEE/1980, as amended by Directive no. 1276/80/CEE, Directive no. 75/85/CEE/1984, Directive no. 70/96/CEE/1996 and Directive no. 40/2003/CE.
The sodium content has a analytical frequency smaller than 1.5g/l, and this water it is recommended to be consumed in all cases where there are low-sodium prescribed regimens. Physical-chemical analysis performed on the water purity level indicators, namely nitrogen and organic substances, are highlighting the risk exclusion of diseases produced by chemical substances.
There are no traces of undesirable concentrations of elements to the Gâlgoaie Springs; there are no prerequisites of geochemical metalogenetic accumulations.
The natural mineral water microbiological purity is appropriate to well protected underground aquifers against vector quality contamination (forest ecosystem in the Piatra Craiului National Park). The natural protective efficacy is due to hydrogeological premises with regional expansion within the operation / exploitation perimeter.
The quality level of exploitation activities, respectively natural mineral water bottling from Gâlgoaie Spring source capture, is provided with continuous monitoring of water quality, both with its own laboratories methodologies and also by analytical analysis carried out in specialized laboratories, national and international accredited.
